Deployment is still concentrated in major urban areas, while most users and businesses continue to rely on the well-established 4G network, which currently covers 99.8 percent of the population.The Ministry of Science and Technology plans to accelerate the rollout of commercial 5G services this year. This initiative aims to foster connections among businesses, universities, and research institutions from both countries to jointly address development challenges.Brochet said one key objective is to increase the number of Vietnamese students in France, which remains relatively modest. At the same time, efforts are needed to further promote Francophone culture in Viet Nam. Beyond the hard sciences, bilateral research collaboration is expanding into areas such as healthcare, biomedicine, transport, nuclear energy, space technology, and applied sciences.Finally, the ambassador stressed the importance of culture as a cornerstone of the bilateral ties.
