Japan to open new air routes to Ha Noi, Da Nang
Japan planned to open new air routes using Airbus 320 aircraft from Wakayama prefecture to Ha Noi and Da Nang City from July in bid to tighten exchanges between the two countries.

The first two round-trip flights are scheduled for July 26 and 30, carrying Wakayama officials to visit Vietnamese localities, and Vietnamese visitors to the Japanese prefecture.
After Japan eased its COVID-19 restrictions in October 2022, Wakayama prefecture has earmarked JPY 21 million (about US$150,000) from its budget to promote international flights.
The prefecture is home to large number of Vietnamese trainees in such sectors as agriculture, and food and aquatic processing./.
