Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh meets with Zhejiang Association of Security Technology & Protection (China)

On the morning of August 18, Mr. Pham Van Thinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee worked with a delegation of the Zhejiang Association of Security Technology & Protection (China), led by Mr. Zhao Yonghua, Secretary General of Zhejiang Association of Security Technology & Protection, and Director of Digital Security and Non-Traditional Security Research Institute

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Zhao Yonghua thanked the Bac Ninh provincial leaders for their warm reception. He said the Association represents Zhejiang’s Digital Security Industrial Cluster, which brings together more than 1,300 member enterprises with a total production value exceeding RMB 400 billion (over USD 55 billion). The cluster focuses on applying science and technology to advance digitalization, risk management and smart urban development.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Association to Bac Ninh to explore the province’s investment environment and promotion of cooperation.
He emphasized that Zhejiang is one of China’s leading high-tech hubs and shares many similarities with Bac Ninh, which is vigorously implementing digital transformation, smart city development, and modern industrial infrastructure.
To maximize the potential for cooperation, the Vice Chairman encouraged major corporations and enterprises from Zhejiang to explore opportunities to expand production and invest in high-tech projects in Bac Ninh, particularly in industrial security equipment, automation, and digital technology infrastructure. He highlighted Bac Ninh’s increasingly robust technology ecosystem, including a growing semiconductor industry cluster, advanced manufacturing capabilities in the technology sector, as well as an integrated logistics network, inland ports, and modern transport infrastructure.

The Vice Chairman affirmed that Bac Ninh province would continue to accompany investors and create the most favorable conditions in terms of policies, infrastructure, and the investment environment. He also directed relevant provincial departments and agencies to closely coordinate with partners to swiftly translate cooperation opportunities into concrete initiatives, facilitate site surveys, and promote investment linkages in the coming time.
